Happy Cider Discovery
And let me start by saying that I don't even like cider...(that goes back to over-consumption in my youth on a certain overseas trip). But that has changed.
It's summer and one evening recently, while sitting at a cafe, I tried my husband's cider. Well this was a refreshing surprise! Saunders Flying Canoe is a crisp hard cider made locally by @saunderscider. I loved the fresh flavours of Ontario apples and subtle baking spices. Flying Canoe is handcrafted in small batches. I enjoyed it on the patio @clocktowerbrewpub, but you can also visit @saundersfarmfun and sip a cider with snacks at the recently opened CiderHouse after exploring the mazes at the farm. At the farm you can do a flight tasting, take a cidery tour or pick up your online order.
