Marlborough, South Island, New Zealand

We tend to think of Sauvignon Blanc when we hear about New Zealand white wine. But wait til you taste this aromatic and well-balanced Pinot Gris! Shows lovely notes of lime, melon, lemongrass, Asian pear and a soupcon of nutmeg. Crisp acidity makes this an excellent accompaniment to shellfish ... and summer evenings.
